In 2005, as President of the Home Builders Association of Central NM, Steve Hale was Founding Member of Build Green NM. Build Green NM is a Green Building program that certifies homes and educates builders and homeowners about the advantages of building and living in “Certified Green Homes”
Steve is a strong advocate for incentives and increased mandates regarding sustainable home construction and development.
He works on site assuring good communication between owner ond builder.
Steve won the 2007 Su Casa Magazine’s ”Green Home of the year” for this 1800 sq. ft. home.
