| Teresa and Joseph’s concrete floor stained with SoyCrete. The color is Desert Sand. Notice the saying designating the entry. This clever idea incorporated a flaw where the concrete was over-burnished and therefore the stain took a bit different. | ||||
These photos show a counter top refinished with DecoPoz – a concrete micro-topping. The counter started as an out-dated formica laminate. A wood edge was attached and a thin layer of DecoPoz was troweled on. The resulting white surface was then stained with SoyCrete and finished with PolySoy. The counter is ‘food friendly’ and the cost is less than $2.50/sq. ft. This is an easy do-it-yourself project and the DecoPoz adheres to most anything including laminates, tile and woods.
